Valérie,

In TRNbuild in the Window Type Manager you can specify "Additional Thermal Resistance" of Shading Devices. I never used that but it might be a solution.

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Blinders for long-wave radiative exchange

Dear Trnsys users

I would like to estimate the impact of the glass emissivity of windows fitted with blinders (only during the night). However, making the simulation and reading the type 56 user's manual, I realized that external and internal shading devices (blinders) only reduce incoming solar radiation.

So my question is: is there a way to simulate night blinders, that is to say blinders that reduce long-wave radiative exchange with the fictive sky temperature?

Best regards and Thanks a lot.
