Dear Dr. Nouri Alkishriwi,

The TESS Solar Library contains a collector with capacitance effects as a
parameter, Type539.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject:[TRNSYS-users] How one can define the thermal capacity of
thecollectors in TRNSYS 16- which type

Dear David, all

I have measured the thermal performance of the flat plate solar collector.
i.e. the
efficiency, IAM , and thermal capacity.

I want to compute the annual collector output (annual energy supply) Qcol
related to
a solar cover portion of 40%, that means for Germany

to certify a collector at least 525 kWh/m² (surface reference according
to DIN
V4757-4) must be obtained.

I have checked several collector types in the standard library of the
TRNSYS 16, so
that I can define the thermal capacity of the collector as an input
parameter but I
cannot find any type has this option. How I can do a dynamic analysis of a
system in
this case?

Thank you very much

Nouri Alkishriwi
