Hi Yujun,
The operative temperature of a space is a combination of the zone air
temperature and the mean radiant temperature. The mean radiant temperature
is the mean temperature of individual exposed surfaces in the zone. The
operative temperature is important to consider when looking at comfort
conditions for occupants.
