John,
It depends a bit on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to
cool a building using a metal roof, I think that the standard TRNSYS
building model (Type56) would give you that effect. If you have got an
actively ventilated airspace behind the metal roof then I think we might
have an unglazed air-based solar collector that might work. If you have
fluid pipes on the back side of the metal roof then it might be that the
model Jeff was mentioning would be most appropriate.
