[TRNSYS-users] loss coefficient / type31 pipe_duct

Jean,
If you have the loss coefficient as W/m.K you need to know whether the 
length that they are talking about is per unit length of pipe/duct or 
per unit thickness of the insulating material. From that, you should be 
able to find out what the relevant loss coefficient per unit area of the 
pipe surface is using formulas from a basic heat transfer text book.
