[TRNSYS-users] Problems with the number of Parameters/Inputs when switching from TRNSYS 16.0 to TRNSYS 16.1

Jochen,
There should not be any changes necessary to a
component (fortran or the proformas) between
TRNSYS v 16.0 and 16.1. The only difference that
I can think of is that with earlier versions
(prior to 16.00.0038) external DLLs were all in
the ..\Trnsys16\UserLib\ directory. We changed
this because if the TRNDll.dll was compiled in
one mode (debug versus release) and the external
DLLs were compiled in the other mode then there
were communication problems between the two. With
later releases, if the TRNDll.dll is compiled in
release mode, it loads external DLLs from the
..\Trnsys16\UserLib\ReleaseDLLs\ directory
whereas if the TRNDll.dll is compiled in debug
mode, then it loads its external DLLs from the
..\Trnsys16\UserLib\DebugDLLs\ directory. My
guess as to what might be happening in your
simulation is that the TRNDll.dll is loading an
older version of your component from the wrong directory.
Cheers,
David
