[TRNSYS-users] About Geometry using trnsys

Bing,
  I would recommend that you look at the building tutorial that is in 
the 06-MultizoneBuilding manual and that you look at the restaurant 
example that you will find in the ..\Trnsys16_1\Examples\ directory. The 
TRNSYS building model doesn't care about the shape of walls, only about 
their areas and orientations. Orientations are defined in two parts. 
They are given a name in TRNBuild. Each orientation name defined in 
TRNBuild becomes a set of inputs to the building model. It is then 
necessary to define the slope and azimuth in the weather data reader / 
processor (Type15 or Type109) and connect the appropriate outputs to the 
building model's inputs.
