I would recommend that you treat the facade space as a zone in Type56. You then have some choices as to how you model the ventilation. If the facade is mechanically ventilated, you can simply define a ventilation type in TRNBuild and attach a fan to it. If the facade space is naturally ventilated then there is a rather simplistic equation given in the ASRHAE Fundamentals (2005) chapter 27 that you can use. A much better (but a good bit more complex) solution would be to use either CONTAM and Type97, COMIS 3.2, or TRNFLOW to calculate the air flow through the facade.
