[TRNSYS-users] About user- created Types number

Dear TRNSY users,
I am experiencing for the first time in the construction of new types.
Following the manuals, in Volume 1, I read (Chapter 1.9 "Creating a new
component"):
..."The selected number should also be in the [201;300] range in order to
avoid conflicts with existing libraries."

But, in Volume 8, chapter 8.3.2, I read:

   - Type 151-200: reserved for used written components.


   - Type 201-300: reserved for add on components comercially available
   from Transsolar.

Which manual is to follow? or it's ME who is in confusion?
