Alfred,
  If you are reading the data with a Type9 and then passing some of 
it through a solar radiation processor (Type16) then you should 
interpolate the temperature and humidity and not the beam or diffuse 
radiation. Type16 has internal algorithms that do a better job than 
simply linearly interpolating between hourly values.
