Dear TRNSYS Users,
I would like to model a very heavy building with one zone and I want to
study the moisture balance of this zone. So, Im using the Buffer Storage
Humidity Model. Im not sure of my parameters :
Walls are composed by (from inside to outside) :
- 20 cm of heavy concrete ;
- 14 cm of mineral wool.
The surface storage is composed by the first centimeter of concrete and the
deep storage by the 19 other centimeters (do I thinking right ?). I have 6
750 m² of walls. So my parameters are :
Ksurf = 0.04 Kdeep = 0.04
Msurf = 6750 m² * 0.01 m * 2 500 kg/m3 = 168 750 kg
Mdeep = 6750 m² * 0.19 m * 2500 kg/m3 = 3 206 250 kg
Bsurf = 3 kg/m²h * 6750 = 20 250 kg(air)/h
Bdeep = 1 kg/m²h * 6750 = 6750 kg(air)/h
An other possibility is to have walls composed by (from inside to outside) :
- 6 mm of Gypsum ;
- 8 cm of mineral wool ;
- 20 cm of heavy concrete.
So my parameters becomes :
Ksurf = 0.015 Kdeep = 1
Msurf = 6 750 m²* 0.006 * 900 kg/m3 = 36 450 kg ;
Mdeep = M(gypsum) * K(gypsum) + M(mineral wool) * K(mineral wool) +
M(concrete) * K(concrete) = 36 450 * 0.015 + 6750 m² * 0.08 m * 12 kg/m3 *
0.01 + 6750 m² * 0.20 m * 2500 kg/m3 * 0.04 = 135 612 kg
Bsurf = 3 kg/m²h * 6750 = 20 250 kg(air)/h
Bdeep = 1 kg/m²h * 6750 = 6750 kg(air)/h
Can someone tell me if Im right ? If not, how should I do ?
Thanks a lot,
Christophe
