[TRNSYS-users] TRNBUILD variable Cp?

Dear Franck,
As far as I know, it is not possible to have temperature dependent
properties in Type56 wall layers. With the feature that allows you to
change the window ID number during the course of a simulation, you might be
able to simulate changes in window properties as a function of time
however. I believe also that some groups have worked on phase change
material components of one kind or another (we did some work on
photovoltaics with phase change materials and I also saw a PCM tank model
recently). However, none of those models plug in to the building as far as
I know. The best approach might be to write a variable property wall
component that connects to a Type56 wall through a boundary temperature
approach such as is used for modeling slabs on grade.
Kind regards,
  David
