Xavier,
The problem could come from any number of sources. I would suggest that
you plot out (using Type65) the amount of solar radiation that you are
sending to Type56 and make sure that it looks reasonable for the location
that you are studying. If it does, then you can start to look at other
possible sources of the high cooling load (high internal gains). Very low
zone capacitance may also contribute to loads that spike very rapidly.
As a side note, I would recommend NOT using any of the Type16 radiation
smoothing modes. The smoothing algorithms implemented in TRNSYS 15 were
fine for certain weather files and caused major problems with others. The
smoothing algorithms were removed from TRNSYS with the release of version 16.
