[TRNSYS-users] Range check error and error 103

Dear Antonio,
Unfortunately, a "Range Check" error means that there was a problem in
your simulation that was not caught by TRNSYS and which resulted in some
illegal function (a divide by zero, an array going out of bounds, etc.). In
TRNSYS 16 we added some additional debugging features that allow you to
track down these errors more easily but in TRNSYS 15, without running your
simulation through a Fortran compiler developer's studio, there isn't much
more information that you can get.

The error that you describe in Type140 looks like a problem with the
call to Typeck. Type140 is a non-standard component (I think) and you
should contact your distributor for help in solving the problem. Your
distributor will also be able to help with the Range Check issue and will
probably ask you to send your project file and the Type140 code. If you
aren't sure who your distributor is, please send your user id number
(15B-Xyyy where X is a letter and yyy is a number) to me by emailing
bradley at tess-inc.com and I will be happy to get you in contact with the
correct person - who knows, the correct person might even be me!
Cheers,
   David
