Dear Najate,
In Energy Rate Control (whether using Type56 or another building model),
you specify a maximum and a minimum allowable zone temperature and the
model reports the amount of energy that had to be added to or removed from
the space in order to maintain those temperatures. In between the maximum
and minimum temperatures, the zone temperature is allowed to float. To use
Energy Rage Control in Type56, you turn on Heating and/or Cooling in each
of your zones, specify a heating (or cooling) temperature and a capacity
for the equipment. The zone temperatures are default Type56 outputs as are
the sensible energy demands of the zone in energy rate control.
Kind regards,
David
