Ebert & Baumann Consulting Engineers is currently offering a position as Building Performance Analyst and Energy Modeler. Applicants need to fulfill following minimum requirements:

Ø  > Must have a Bachelors degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from a four-year college or university or similar qualification.

Ø  > Must have sound knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of experience in energy modeling (incl. ASHRAE 90.1) using EnergyPlus; additional simulation experience (e.g. TRNSYS, Radiance, Star-CCM+/FLUENT, etc.) preferred.

Ø  > Minimum of 5 years experience with the responsibility for the planning and execution of all aspects of energy modeling from the scoping and proposal stage through reporting.

Ø  > Professional Engineer (P.E.) and additional certifications (LEED AP, CEM, BEMP, etc.) beneficial and preferred.

Ø  > Must have excellent verbal and written English language skills; additional language skills (e.g. German) beneficial and preferred.
