Built Ecology is a specialist high performance design service of WSP
Flack + Kurtz that provides design, analysis and consulting services in
energy and carbon, comfort and daylight and water use performance for
building design.
We are looking for a talented analyst / designer who is passionate about
the integration of building systems engineering and architecture to
nurture and lead a Built Ecology team in the WSP Flack + Kurtz New York
office.
The successful applicant will have:
* a very strong grounding in both MEP and building enclosure system
design issues relating to building performance;
* evidence of a willingness to innovate and champion alternative
integrated system design strategies;
* excellent presentation skills;
* detailed knowledge of energy analysis software tools and will have
experience using that software to optimize customized design solutions;
* a strong understanding of natural lighting design principles and
experience with Radiance
* a good understanding of fluid dynamics and experience with CFD
analysis tools;
