Reacting to your ‘too small to work with’ note:

Might be telling you things you already know but the “D” button toggles between zooming and panning the footprint and CAD file together to just the CAD file which will let you gross scale in eQUEST.

The CAD drawing properties lets you refine / tune the scale.

I tend to start with a rectangle footprint in eQUEST that I know matches the drawing extents. Use the “D” and zoom and pan until the drawing underlay aligns with the rectangle and then fine tune the CAD Drawing Settings scale (as the scale is usually a regular fraction).

Not sure how clear any of that was – may need more coffee.

Subject: [Equest-users] Importing DWG

________________________________
I'm trying to import a DWG into Equest. I have the 2024 version. have tried saving it in. 2013 and 2024.

The 2004 version imports but it's too small to work with and zooming in doesn't seem to work either.

Any suggestions?
