Hello Pasha,

You need to licence your software form the organization(James J. Hirsh Associate). The licence form is attached in the mail and also available in the zip folder downloaded by you.

Once you will received the key, foll the instruction mentioned in REEADME.pdf attached file. After done open the eQUEST file. In the quick menu form tools and change the software version of DOE2.2 to 2.3. Image is attached for reference.

In case, if you will open and existing file it will show numerous error as the version is still under development and short of some systems available in 2.2 e.g. SUM system.

Hi Javed,

I cannot get this approach to work.  Maybe I don't know how to open the command prompt as an Administrator.

Is there another way that I can get this new version to unzip/extract with the password, or not?  I don't know why mine is asking for a password when I try to extract it.

Please help if anyone knows a different way to get this extracted.

I had similar issue but successfully installed this through command prompt option given as:

STEP-1: Open command prompt as Administrator
STEP-2: Type this command -   msiexec /i "C:\Users\XYZ\Downloads\eQUEST_3-65Build7174_Setup_2017-07-13 ReleaseTesting.msi"
STEP-3 - ENTER
STEP-4 Follow step and DONE!!

I am trying to install it and it seems to be asking me for a password to extract the DOE2.3 files.  Did you run into this?  I don't see any password info indicated in the install instructions.

I see that with great fanfare a new version was added to the download area July 13th.  VRF, DOAS and air-side heat recovery appear to be operational on the DOE 2.3 side of this build.  I am curious about the impressions of those who have tried it -- as well as any known limitations of this build.
