[Equest-users] The problem of treatment of campus thermal energy

Dear equest user,


  I have a Leed energy modeling project,which include two buildings.And the cooling energy of the both building is supplied by the same cooling plants.However,the both buildings are applied LEED-CS certification seprately.As we all known,it can be dealed  as campus thermal energy problem.And because the the building housing the thermal energy plant is itself the LEED project building,option 2 can be used for cooling system without considering the EAC1 points restriction.Howerver the heating energy of the project is supplied by Purchased heat, so my question is if option2 can be used for heating system where the EAc1  can not achieve 8 points.


Any suggestion?
