[Equest-users] Boiler on GSHP Loop

You can go to the circulation loop attached to the GHEX and create an
artificial boiler load under the "Process/DHW Loads" tab. You'll have to
account for your fuel consumption separately but you'll at least be able to
see how the artificial boiler loads impact the ground loop temperature.
My two cents: I'd place the boiler upstream of the heat pumps and wouldn't
try to warm the ground above its' undisturbed temperature.

Subject: [Equest-users] Boiler on GSHP Loop
I'm trying to simulate the energy consequences of adding a boiler to the
ground loop for a cold climate, but eQuest does not allow this application.
Are there any ideas on how to fake it?
We're effectively trying to warm the ground because the average undisturbed
ground temperature is so low.
Much thanks
