[Equest-users] Wall and Floor Constructions

Does anyone know why eQuest creates so many wall constructions, especially on below grade walls and floors, when you make the switch from the wizard to the detailed mode?  I would like to create a "typical" exterior wall construction and assign this to all walls.  Is there a problem with doing this?  Any suggestions or opinions for and against doing this would be appreciated.  Thanks.
