The Company

Integrated Environmental Solutions Ltd. develops the Virtual Environment, building simulation software, which enables practitioners from the AEC Industry to design high quality and innovative buildings, while minimizing the impact on the environment.

Job Description

Initially this role will be office-based providing technical sales support to Business Development Managers. The role involves the use of architectural and engineering principles to provide technical software support and training to both Business Development Managers and clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


*         Providing sales support, including prospecting and researching contacts within ideal customer organisations

*         Qualifying sales leads by telephone

*         Providing initial web demos introducing the VE capabilities to prospective customers

*         Basic account management duties

*         Manage customer renewals on behalf of the Business Development Managers

*         Other ad hoc tasks to support the Business Development Managers.


After an agreed training period, the successful candidate will begin managing customer renewals on behalf of the Business Development Managers. They will start to progress into a full Business Development position.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

*         Relevant Bachelor Degree e.g. Mechanical, Architectural, High Performance Building, Building Science.

*         Confident and clear communicator

*         A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team environment

*         Construction industry experience:

o   Sustainable building design

o   Awareness of energy regulations (e.g. ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1, 170, 55)

o   Awareness of voluntary environmental rating systems including LEED

o   HVAC System Design.

Desirable Skills

*         Knowledge of the Virtual Environment (VE) software or other mechanical design/analysis software such as Trane TRACE would be an advantage, however full training in our technology will be provided.

*         Previous experience working in a sales or client-facing role.

*         Knowledge of other technical AEC software tools/workflows/languages (e.g. Revit, EnergyPlus, Python, etc.)

*         Experience of Salesforce CRM software.
