Hi,

it seems that idf files can be import to designbuilder. You can develope geometry model in openstudio and export idf file, then import the idf file into Designbuilder.

hope this help!

Subject: [Bldg-sim] LEED simulation in energy plus

Dear Modelers,

I am going to do calculation for LEED (EA P2 and EA C1) using EnergyPlus. I
am new in this software, but I get license for DesignBuilder.

Could you write me what is difference (difficulty level, future
possibilities) between building modeling in OpenStudio and DesignBuilder?
I mean: is it easier to draw in OpenStudio, but e.g. HVAC development is
nicer in DesignBuilder...?

Could I model building in OpenStudio (envelope), but later work on it in
DesignBuilder (and vice versa)?

Thanks in advance for your hints and tips!!!
Regards,
Karol Bandurski
