[TRNSYS-users] How to put holes between two thermal zones in Trnsys3d to simulate air flow between them.

Joynal,
I am not sure that you actually want to delete the windows. If you
leave them in, then TRNBuild will import them as an "ADJ_WINDOW" and you
can then change the properties of ADJ_WINDOW to be those of a virtual
(non-existent / open) window, which will allow solar radiation to pass
through. If you delete the windows and leave a hole in the TRNSYS3D wall
(and Trnsys3D actually lets you do so) then once you import into
TRNBuild, it would be as though the adjacent surface between the two
zones was the gross wall area minus the "hole" area. There would be no
representation at all of the hole and consequently, sunlight would not
pass through and nor would there be a path by which airflow could pass
between the two zones.
Kind regards,
David
