[TRNSYS-users] Total heating demand and IF/THEN function

   I might be missing something here but I'd use an equation like:

SUM = A + B + C + D

where A, B, C, and D are inputs to the equation block and are connected 
up from the outputs of the components whose demand values you want to 
sum up.
