Hi,
I'm looking for someone with experience using the Savings By Design or
Title 24 compliance engines within eQuest. It is my understanding that
only version 3.6 has been approved by the CEC, so this is the version
that I have been attempting to use. Some of the models were initially
created in version 3.63b. When I try to open the models in the old
version using the .inp file all of the walls disappear. Does anyone know
of a quick fix for this?
Also, regarding the compliance engine, many of the spaces are served by
FCUs. The compliance engine requires a system-level supply airflow input
(Design cfm), which is not an input option for this type of system
within eQuest. I have tried to specify the airflow at the zone level but
still get the error. Does anyone know a work-around for this? I am a
rookie at dealing with the compliance engine so would appreciate any
additional tips moving forward.
Thanks a lot,
