[Equest-users] Insufficient heating capability

Hi,

 

I'm getting this message in the SIM file: 

*Warning****** 

ZONE EL1 West Perim Zn 

Might have insufficient heating capability.

Check that the SYSTEM or ZONE HEATING -CAPACITY plus this ZONEs
BASEBOARD-RATING is adequate to maintain the ZONE specified
DESIGN-HEAT-T for the calculated peak zone load (see LS-A or LS-B for
zone peak load.) ... 

Please see attached.

 

The baseline model is using rooftop units - DX coils with gas furnace
for warm up heating for early morning hours and the respective zones
will have VAV boxes with electric reheat for the rest of the day. In the
Heating tab "Heat Source" is set to "Furnace" and Zone Heat Source is
set to electric. System type is Pkgd Var Vol. Are my inputs correct? Any
idea on how to correct this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
