Very nice dig at Dave Matthews. I hate that guy. >:D Of course, I don't like Phish, either.
Anyone given any thought to groups like Dark Star Orchestra? Basically, they are a Grateful Dead tribute band that tries to re-enact various shows *exactly.* I.e. If one of the musicians improvised or made a mistake, they will attempt to duplicate the improvised performance or will purposefully make the same mistake. That's got some power to it, I'd say.
For 1998, you could have the real Jerry be aware that the robot either stopped working or that someone stopped it, and either be in hiding or attempting to reclaim the faithful?
