The Internet was made by porn.

No, seriously. It's flippant but it's true. In the same way that the 
porn industry helped fund the VHS machine and video rental stores -- why 
go to a sleazy theatre in the bad part of town when you can jack off in 
the comfort and privacy of your own home -- the ability to download 
movies and stream even greater amounts of data was, in no small part, 
funded by the porn industry.

Think about how much porn is torrented daily.

Think about how the porn industry doesn't give a shit, even though the 
MPAA and RIAA is shitting bricks.

Think about how many people use their computer for pornography.

And then think about what would happen if even a grainy copy of the 
Naked Goddess tape was digitized and posted online.
