This "Alphabet of Brooke Shields" reminds me of the "Alphabet of Ben
Sira", a satirical medieval text. It's an acrostic of 22 Aramaic and 22
Hebrew proverbs, each followed by commentary, which contains, among other
things, the first written reference to Lilith. Maybe someone's trying to
update the document? And don't forget, Shields' second daughter was born
on the same day - and in the same hospital! - as little Suri, the child of
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Also - get this - Ms. Shields' father
divorced her mother, Teri Shields, and married Diana Lippert Auchincloss,
the former wife of Jackie Onassis' stepbrother!! She seems related to
everyone else, too . . . maybe there are 22 (or 24) relatives and 22
people she's slept with, each one's name beginning with a different
letter.
