This also seems like a place where the Occult
Mainstream could be really handy. A nice open-minded
pagan therapist could easily help you deal with the
way you feel about your dead ex-boyfriend hunting you,
without really needing to question whether your dead
ex-boyfriend is really hunting you.
Or maybe I have been living in the Bay Area too long.
Often, in the games I play, someone plays the Avatar
of the Confessor (because, honestly, Confessors are
fun, powerful, and really interesting) which kind of
makes it a non-problem. They're like the cleric of
the party, only for the heebie-jeebies instead of lost
hit points.
