"INDIANAPOLIS - A couple sat by their daughter's hospital bedside for
weeks after an auto accident until she came out of a coma and they
realized she was not their daughter after all, but another blond-haired
young woman injured in the wreck. Their own daughter, it turned out, was
dead and buried."
My question is--at what point were things still flexible? Was it
possible to slip reality a mickey when no one was looking, and
essentially swap people, bringing the dead back to life? Yes, it's
creepy and tasteless to even suggest it, but what family wouldn't give
their all for another chance at spending time with their daughter?
