Of course, some Houses are woefully obsolete, trying
to make renunciates better social catalysts for times
long gone. The Houses are not perfect and they are
largely blind to consequences, and with agents, they
are biased.

And each house is rather megalomaniacal to what it
sees as the best way for humanity to travel forward.
