The undermining of the Fisher King?  Or a True King?  An attempt to force 
the Land (perhaps some land that has come to represent commodity? 
somewhere in suburbia?  Allentown?  etc?) to choose its legal owner (or 
the owner's agent) as its King.  A ritual to that effect which threatens 
the local King, who comes to the players (or their enemies) for support. 
And/or as a part of this ritual, a local use of eminent domain to grab 
land from the players / their allies / their enemies in order to force the 
transfer of ownership (the dominion of the owner over the land's choice of 
King being reflected by the enforced unwilling transfer of title).

I would probably do something like that.
