:D  I thought he might do that.  I just haven't
figured out *how* he might do that.  I'm planning on
having the PCs get an offer they can't refuse (my npc
character thing works for TNI), and maybe have him get
a bit of help or general clue-ing in from them.  I
figure that way he'll at least be able to find the
doppelganger.  Also, as the character is an author, (a
sort of cult figure along the lines of Harlan Ellison,
but w/o the sci-fi aspect to the writing), I was
planning on having him see all his best ideas in print
under some other guy's name.  He turns to the flap and
sees the doppelganger, but no one else recognizes the
two as being identical (except for the others in the
group who know about the doppelganger, of course). 
Etc.

Oh yeah!  So what happens when the cancer reunites
with the doppelganger?  Doppelganger dies, or the
doppelganger becomes that much worse and possibly
starts making a play to *become* the real character,
as now he is more like the character was prior to
Bi3P, or what?  Ideas?
