You may have a point.  The characters stood around
confused for the first part of Bi3P.  They killed the
pedophile in the 2nd part, and saved Bill (which
ultimately got him put in a police car) for the 3rd
part.  I really think that killing the pedophile
really gave them the sense of having "done something"
that made the scenario "exciting and strange" rather
than "weird and frustrating."  

Suggestions for a paper tiger to stick in at the
beginning of "A Few of My Favorite Things?"
