[UA] "Kabbalah water"?

I was wondering how to spin this into a UA scenario -- y'know, assign 
each bottle a number, and if you collect them all and pour them into the 
clay in the right order you can make a golem or something.  But the 
mundane/con-artist/red-herring option would be a good UA story, too.

Scenario:  Several dukes have ended up in the hospital, with various 
severe symptoms:  Serious illness, coma, death.  War in the occult 
underground?  Nope.  Turns out they bought the rumor started by the 
kabbalah water bottler, which is that you can charge up by pounding a 
case of the stuff.  The bottler has already made his money and headed 
for the hills.  (See

Alternate scenario:  A bunch of dukes hear about the last case of 
kabbalah water, after hearing the aforementioned rumor (or a variation 
from the urban legend game of "telephone").  The PCs get roped in; 
hilarity ensues as they help or hinder dukes, or start bottling their 
own vintage, or whatever.  (This almost sounds like a "Dying Earth" 
scenario.)
