The page claims it is still practiced in rural Pennsylvania.  Why did
my players choose to set the campaign in Arizona, when there's so much
weirdness here at home?

I had the Mr. Rogers Iconomancers and the mystic resonance of
Pittsburgh* all ready to go.

*Pittsburgh is, in every way possible, directly opposed to
Philadelphia.  Philadelphia is the City of Brotherly Love.  Ergo,
Pittsburgh is the city of Brotherly Hate.  This can be further
illustrated by the various rival synonymously named companies run by
warring factions of a simngle family (Snyder's potato chips being the
most prominent two companies) and the ancient Indian curse that would
be cliche if it weren't true.
