While it's not really UA, I do suggest a reading of "Only
Begotten Daughter" by James Morrow.  It deals with the
birth of the daughter of God in the 1980s (or 90s maybe)
out in Atlantic City.  With her divinity, she had a hell of
a rough childhood.  

Could be useful for a similar theme here.
