True story which could be useful to you with some tweaking:
Couple years ago, a copy of "It's a Wonderful Life" mysteriously showed
up at my house after a party. My roommates and I were a little
mystified, and checked in with pretty much everyone that had been
there. Nobody claimed it, and for months, it just sat around the house.
Finally, when the house broke up and we all moved, the tape got dropped
into a local charity box. Nobody thinks about it for months. Finally,
the word comes out, to dawning horror, that the tape was in fact
chock-full of hardcore porn that had been left there as a practical
joke. Karmic justice, I calls it, but to this day, I feel bad about the
christmas somebody had...
In any case - inflict this on your PCs as part of the dawning weirdness
- some whacked-out nutjob breaks in ala T2, demanding the 3/2/1
generation copy of the Naked Goddess tape they just sent off, and they
won't take no for an answer...
