  >>>Its got Greg Stolze listed as a main author, so I'm inclined to think
that it might be worth the read just for the writing of it. But I thought
I'd ask.<<<

I was a bit anti-thrilled with the tone of GODLIKE's intro, which I
basically sum up as "Hey, metaplot sucks! But here's a game set in WWII with
a detailed history, and it's implied you should stick to it, which is
effectively the same thing!"

As it happens, Stolze wrote the bits that I like (which is fortunate, for he
is my favourite Everway author, after Jonathon Tweet) - the rulesy bits.
Just as UA is a more sophisticated and refined version of the Call of
Cthulhu ruleset, GODLIKE is a more streamlined, sophisticated, and powerful
reworking of the Storyteller-style dice pool core mechanic.

If I didn't have a really cool diceless supers RPG that suits me well (the
Marvel Saga game), or if I was running supers for people who -needed- dice,
I'd use GODLIKE without hesitation.

More ORE games would be lovely. I join that throng that desires them.
