Well, I did quite enjoy a film along those lines once - Crocodile Hunter;
Collision Course, in which Our Hero, Steve Irwin, seems to go out of his way
to avoid interacting with the plot. Indeed, at one point he beats it off
with a snake. Our roleplaying society has since adopted the phrase 'Irwinian
Plot Avoidance' to describe the behaviour of PCs who do the same kind of
thing.
It was interesting in the film because the plot effectively chased him
around, even though, right up until the last shot, he didn't really notice
it existed. And because we watched it on a night dedicated to beer and bad
movies. In RPGs it's a lot harder to make it fun, but I've seen it done.
