I say just make sure that the avatar skill and the magick arn't
functioning off percisely the same concept, so that they conflict with
each other slightly. This doesn't mean it won't work. Consider a woman
who is obsessed with money as a means to independance. She might be a
Flying Women/Plutomancer. She'll have a lot less charges (since she has
to make money without kissing anyone's ass or working for a corporation
she doesn't like), and her Avatar skill will be suboptimal. But its
doable, and she wouldn't be *completly* nuts. She would just have very
little perspective on the way normal people think.
