That would also include negative emotions, as well.  You
can't get angry at the person using his cell phone in a
theatre.  You can't be afraid of the mugger with the knife.
 You could only view everything as objects and ideas.

Which means you couldn't use your Rage stimulus against
someone who abuses a child.  You could use your Rage
stimulus if you see your favorite computer about to fall
off the roof (but not direct your rage at the person
responsible for it).  You couldn't use your Fear stimulus
to escape the ax-wielding albino, but you could use it to
claw through the door as the room fills with snakes.  

Very limited uses there.
