[UA] Need a Crash Course on the Maxattax yahoo list...

I'm running a "drawing back the curtain for some clueless newbies"
style campaign. The players have only a couple of shreds of information
about how the UA-verse works. They're having fun, but they're also
fairly frustrated with their lack of knowledge.

After the open rebellion dangling Maria Saputo from the "Swap Meet"
scenario caused, (Player: "Are you kidding me? No way we're calling the
*mob*!" GM:"Well, crap. Ummmm... new plan for tonight, then...") I'm
thinking I'll let 'em bump into MA, instead, possibly via the
yahoogroups list.

I'm waiting for confirmation that I've signed up for the list, and I'll
spend the next two weeks lurking before I decide wether or not to let
'em have the address, but I'm wondering how folks have used the list in
their campaign. It seems like a fairly unique resource for the GM, but
if I can avoid any of the obvious gaffes, that's good. I'd hate to
totally bog it down just because I haven't let my players read anything
but the street section of the core book.

thanks, all
BWC
