Amateur lucid dreamer here:
yeah, it's just ...weird.

9 out of 10 times, it's garbled in my experience.
The 10th time, it's messy, oddly contexted and
changes.  If a book does this and I've not been
drinking, I figure it's dreaming.

Discussing things on RPG.net forums has me doing lucid
dreaming checks quite often..."this makes no sense! am
I dreaming?  No?!?!?"
