Hey all.
Since Saul and James Knevitt are interested I'm going
to whore my game for reviewers and playtesters. It is
OGL/D20-derived.
I've also got Chad Underkoffler somewhere too. It will
be released under the auspices of Atomic Sock Monkey
and my own game company Crowned Roach Games.
I'll run it off a yahoo mailing list.
And here it is:
Fey Tales: an original and complete OGL roleplaying
game by Chris Cooper (words and drawings).
(I'll probably rope my girlfriend into editing and
layout)
Fey Tales is an OGL/d20-styled fantasy roleplaying
game based on Fairy Stories, Fables, Folklore Nursery
Rhymes and Children's Tales (Hans Christian Andersen,
Grimm Bros, Aesop, Mother Goose, Edward Mearns, etc).
Fey Tales will have...
An attempted Lone Die system (so far everything
works).
New Character Generation system.
Altered and new attributes
Altered Skills and Feats. Including creature feats for
non-human characters.
A new Combat and a Health Management System.
A new magic system (which, if works, will rock! Hold
Fingers).
A new character reward/experience/ranking system.
Including a synergy ranking for the Group-and-Games
Master enjoyment (player and GM responsiblity become
one similar).
What there won't be:
Levels
Races
Classes
Hit Points.
Need dice other than a d20.
Different types of spellclasses. Everyone can use
magic.
No spell lists either.
A lot of stuff currently, it's very in the air and
falling like snow.
And that's it. If you feel you can contribute, please
reply to this mail.
And I apologize for scalping my stuff on UA bandwidth.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Chris.

is too tired to be carried
by its battered wings.
It falls, crashes...
... and is still in its bone cage...
