Oh yes, Equilibrium is Tasty.  Very Tasty.  The necessity of evil to have
good was sweet... a theme I don't see much of these days, but one that rings
true with me.  

The action sequences were wonderful as well.  I like the distinct lack of
wire fighting, and the gun katta idea seems a natural extension of martial
arts.

It's not. Get over it. It is, however, incredible on pretty much all levels,
from it's Orwellian portrayal of conformity through pharmaceuticals to the
absolutely mind-blowing action sequences that easily outstrip the Matrix in
cool factor, technical merit, cinematography and sheer bloody class.

See it. Love it. Buy the DVD. Have Christian Bale's children.
