[UA] Weirdness: unintentional cannibalism

Speaking of hardened notches, earlier this week the question of self-checks 
came up in the campaign I'm in. It seems as though Mak Attak is working 
locally, and to make a long story short, why is unintentional cannibalism a 
self-7 check?

Am I just a sociopath, or is that way too high? How would folks here react 
to finding out that they'd unintentionally eaten human meat? I'd be a little 
disgusted, but if it tasted okay and I wasn't worried about disease I can't 
see myself minding that much. Yeah I'd be pissed off at whoever served it, 
but a self-check? For doing something unintentionally? Not sure I buy it.
